DEC Public Information Sessions/Hearings Concerning
Outdoor Woodboiler Regulations

DEC will conduct a public information session for one hour prior to the public hearing listed below.  During this session, DEC staff will entertain questions from the public concerning the proposed rulemaking. This public information session will commence at 5:00 p.m. and end at 6:00 p.m.

Sessions are intended to be informal and will not be part of the official hearing record. Any comments that the public wishes to be included in the record should be submitted during the official public hearing, or by email to NYSDEC.

Bass and Catfish Sale

Channel Catfish (6-8 inches), a new size of Largemouth Bass (4-6 inches), fathead minnows (now sold by hundred not pound), Grass Carp and floating fish food can now be ordered through the Cortland County SWCD.

MISSION STATEMENT: 

It is the mission of the Cortland County Soil and Water Conservation District (SWCD) to assist citizens and units of the local government in making sound decisions on the management of soils, water, and related natural resources based on their properties.

SWCD will further assist in the implementation of decisions by seeking adn coordinating technical and financial assistance from federal, state, and local governments, and private sources.
